Audience Expectations:

I believe in the ending that will consist a lot of death, Hitler will escape however everyone including the USA undercovers will get burned alive, however I think when the commander and the general/commander of the Nazi interrogator will get ambushed and killed. One of the conventions of war films is that the war ends, or the conflict is over, and the soldiers return home. So because the American spys are understood as the protagonists, of the movie they all or some will go back home to restore the feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction of their job. The two people who owned the theater could possibly escape to somewhere else, outside of France to live happily ever after.

Genre Selection

As a sub-genre I would pick the "Guy Films". I live close to my friends and they're all guys, so what better genre to choose then to be ourselves. Making fun of each other playing videogames etc., it would be an easy start and finish to produce. If I'm going to be producing the film, it be more enjoyable to do it while with the boys, to show how tense video games can get or girl talk, etc.

Genre Presentation Review

Comedy:

This genre really advanced around the 1960s during the Cold War to make people laugh or forget about current world events. It was common to see a group of people to laugh together or a narrator to commentary what was going on at the time, as well as exaggerated sound effects. The music is very light weighted to hear the jokes that were being told and the edits were short and fast so there was plenty of time to enjoy the movie. Some famous comedies were: Modern Times, Back to the Future, Sorry to Bother You, Blazing Shadows, and Dr. Strangelove.

Action:

The first action movie was arguably to be "The Great Train Robbery" in 1903. Around the 1920s - 1930s action films revolved around periodic times or western styled movies. In the 1970s action movie culture really started to express itself by making titled actors people still know today such as Harrison Ford, Arnold Schwarzenegger, etc. Some notable films are: John Wick, Mission Impossible, and James Bond. Some common conventions are a main protagonist, main antagonist, some sort of plot and a villain speech.

 Drama:

Drama films had less realistic way the characters acted. Most of the movies have a motif with a relationship between 2 people and sometimes restricted. In the 1950s, dramas started to expand into different subcategories; they became more to true life to connect to the audience. Some Notable films are: Greyhound, Knives Out, Ida. Some common conventions are emotionally scarred characters, characters are relatable, hard decisions towards the protagonist.

Crime & Gangster:

Crime & Gangster films have common settings like bars, streets, city areas, recognizable character personalities like, "The Boss", mob wife, hitman, the police, etc. These films starting entertaining people in the 1930s for those who wanted lawlessness or violence on screens. After the 1950s, crime films had different complex stories with different plots. Some notable films are: Goodfellas, Taxi Driver, Baby Drivers, Scarface, and many more.

Musical & Dance:

The first notable film is "The Jazz Singer" in 1927, in 1930s however was the "Golden Age" for musical movies. Due to the great depression however it wasn't a great pick from viewers, they wanted something more upbeat. They started to regrow popularity in the 1960s. Around the 1990s, Disney created animated musical films, like "Rent". Some notable films are, Mamma Mia, and Annie. Some common features in this genre, is musical expression of feelings or the past. Sometimes a 4th wall breakage. A romantic happy ending, etc.

War: My two notable films :

47 Ronin: Castle Raid Scene

Avengers End Game: Ending War Scene

Spiderverse Burger scene

It took us two days due to the fact Marlon and Logan had two different work shifts, however we've managed to pull it off and while its not up to the best quality it decent work with the time we had together./ After a long time of planning and getting time to record at Wendy's and making sure everything was in the same place of last time. We did a pretty good job.
If I could find more time and a better schedule so I had more time to perfect the film, that'd be great, and or find someone more available to the dedication to the project.

180 Degree

The 180 degree rule is to show the audience what’s happening with unseen movement behind and around the subject.

-Theme Of The Arts

The theme that I chose to be interested in this year was "Politics and the Social Order". To understand how rulers originally became rulers. Also how many people back in "Egyptian Times" thought as the king or pharaoh had connections with "The Gods". With the inventions of pyramids as well is keeping proper order throughout Egypt. Also due to the fact that there was some sort of connection with "The Gods" it's aid that some pharaohs are cursed and or are legendary and that's why they remain in specific tombs designed for them.

To understand why they were either so loved or hated, and why some tombs were dependent of the status is really interesting. How they had the ability to rule over such a huge piece of land and their power to build amazing structures that are still around and being researched today. Why they chose to have kids around 14 to become the king due to generations of ruling. I'm a huge fan of the unknown or mysteries so to understand how some of these things came to be is enjoyable.

The art is also interesting to learn, because it's everywhere inside of the pyramids, to tell a story, of what's happening or what could happen in relation to "Gods" or not. TO know what they're trying to say from a picture that was crafted so long ago.

Avengers: Questions 2

The movies message about teamwork and courage is that, to defeat the largest of conflicts, as a team you have to stick together; no one can defeat a challenge by him/herself. Quil (Starlord) found out that Thanos killed Gamora, Quil's lover. When he found this out he lost control of himself compromising the whole plan, which actually would've worked. Team work is an importance to have. You can't handle every single situation by yourself, especially in one like The Avengers, it could get your killed. Also if you show dedication towards your team more then you do the objective the respect will me greatly gained for their perspective. Captain America, and Dr. Strange really showed teamwork. Captain America wanted to bring back the whole team even though they were seperated from their past experience, and Dr. Strange sacrificed the time stone (the one thing he said he wouldn't give up for anything) to save Tony's life.

Inception Question 2

I would not give up sharing dreams with other people because it gives me the vulnerability to expose my secrets even if not meant to be. Also The other person would know what would happen in the dream with you and could cause some awkwardness regarding the friendship or whatever relationship they had with me.

Inception Questions 1

Mal in Inception represent regret, pain, guilt. Near the end of the movie Cobb blamed himself for her death because he experimented with her first to cause to to not understand what is real or a dream. Throughout the film he can't forgive himself so that's why in every dream she represents as a bad character rather then a good one, because it hurts him, to mess up his plan, to mess with him, and noone else.

Avengers: Infinity War Reflection

Infinity War explores the theme of sacrifice by showing it as an emotion through the different characters. Like Thor, it was losing Loki in the begging, Loki sacrificed himself to try to stop Thanos because he knew Thanos was going to get more powerful, but in a result Thor was mentally hurt throughout the movie. Then when it came to Wanda and Vision they had to sacrifice their "retired" life by helping The Avengers fight of Thanos and his army. Nearing an hour, Quil had to "sacrifice" Gamora because she knew where the location of the last stone was, while although he didn't kill her, he definitely said his goodbyes and pulled the trigger, sacrificing his love life. Near the ending of the clip Rocket had to sacrifice his team with the Guardians to go with Thor to get his "Thanos killing Kind" weapon.

It puts a depressing mood on the whole movie. To show that everyone is splitting apart over one person that has the power of the Universe in his palm. How they're scared to fight him. It effects all the characters differently, but it also encourages them to stop Thanos as much as possible so it won't happen to half of the universe.

Avant Garde Film Reflection

Aspect Ratio ties together with resolution by itself. Resolution is the amount of pixels that the shot (image) has. For example 1080 x 1920 tells us that its 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels, which not only gives it a higher fps, but a clearer image that the viewer could view their observations. Aspect ratio is the ratio of the height and width, but yet doesn't represent the images actual size.

Reflection: I don't believe that this film was the best whatsoever. While although my team had our separate in and outs of the class, there should be no excuse why we couldn't of made the film better. This film in my mindset was a disaster. Although with the time we did have we did caught up fairly quickly, but yet again not in the right essence that we needed to. Definitely in this group my recommendations is to get a better mindset and preparation to what the film was actually about. We needed to cooperate better with communication and not just use someones absence as an excuse not to work even if they were the main star. To be more organized. To use our creativity not just for fun, but for serious times aswell.

Montage Summary BlogPost

Most training montages expresses the work as if you put a lot of work into what you're passionate about. then you will receive your reward of satisfaction. It's suppose to inspire the audience to continue the path of their own success and they will eventually receive it in the "final battle" whether it's a job interview, fight, ect.
