Sound Design - EQ
What is EQ?
The Process of changing different frequency components in a audio signal.
How does an instrument or voice’s timbre affect how we EQ?
It gives us unrecognizable sounds that aren't in harmony so it's hard to understand.
How does masking effect recordings with multiple sounds?
Masking reduces this effect so it can be as clear as possible.
How can you use filters to improve audio quality?
It cuts or boosts specific parts of the audio to make it more clear.
Explain Additive and Subtractive EQ.
Addictive EQ is when you boost the sound to your liking, and subtracting is when you cut down the music to the proper level.
