When preformed "Easy Ease" as a time remapping effect that slowly or quickly enters or exits a clip. This is widely used for clean or smooth transitions whether its for video footage or text effects.
Should I use it?
Of course. This quick addition to certain projects can definitely show professional mannerism and dedication into your film or clip especially when it involves a cinematic shot. Added with some blur and It has the ability to feel clean and make you look good at the same time.
Color Grading is when the colors of a film/shot is alternated to understand or develop the mood for the scene or shot. It gives the audience an extra expression of emotion. It really brings out personal preference in any editor because there's countless of possibilities that a scene could be emotionally interoperated.
Color Grading is really a simple process. Due to the fact that each color grade is designed by personal preference there is no "right/wrong" answer in this technique. It's proper to your own emotion. It is recommended though that if your using multiple shots and cuts when editing to use the effect in an adjustment layer rather than wasting your time copying each proper tone. The effect was just a couple click and drags in the "Color" tab in Premiere Pro, and honestly it creates such another impact by using a couple minutes of your time. In more cinematic shots I would definitely use color grading towards my advantage of a goof short film production.
The film was enjoyable to make I had a great time recording the different scenes, however during the recording my room was being arranged so it looked different and messy. I wish I maybe recorded maybe 2-3 different more shots however at the same time the repetitive shots make the film look like what I was intended for. I liked how some of the videos sort of synced together to make the short movie look like it had a little bit of flow to it, and I originally didn't intend for it to have any raw audio but when I reviewed the clips it fit quite nice to be honest; so I decided to keep it.
Proxies is a small yet a useful tool in Premiere Pro. They take larger files (such as 4k or 8k footage) and create smaller versions of that clip so Premiere can render and process a lot smoother in situations that are needed. Afterwards when ready for export they take the proxies and recode them into the video files original resolution and quality that was formatted. This icon --------->
is a button that allows you to toggle the proxies on and off to see between the high and low resolution. (Basically turning them off/on).
I tested this technique and its very useful for video editing on the go when I'm not connected to a power source to give my processor the full power it needs to professionally edit. It doesn't really buffer and if it does its rare and it gives me the ability to swiftly past through each and every clip with ease. I highly recommended this technique for people who don't have the best of processing computers and or for extremely high resolution videos. It saves a lot of time by taking a short amount of it. When a proxy is being created in Media Encoder it takes a small amount of rendering to to fully create one (And a little bit of storage). To create a proxy you just need select the clips and right click on them and select proxy and choose your formatting of the proxy.
