I chose the Horror genre and some conventions are fear of death, a killer, survivors, suspense, some sort of fatal accident, etc. The opposite of horror films are happy, comedy films, so some ways of doing some subverts are making the killer seem not professional at what he's doing, to make the movie seem for friendly to the audience, and relatable in a way.
