Intention & Explorations:
My film was purposely meant to try to show the repetitive part of time/life. It's to show that everyday is gradually almost the same with very little changes or differences. With humanity it's given that we prefer to save time by taking shortcuts, or learning to understand how to make "work" a lot shorter than what it used to be. My intention of this film was to express to everyone who has a difficult issue with time management, or struggles with slow production, that learning proper shortcuts could save a couple minutes of time, this doesn't specifically revolve around editing like this short film was, it can be used as a lesson of life. Time is something that not only does every person have but every living thing holds. It really spoke out to me differently than the other subjects of media and art design.
To plan I had a specific time frame I wanted to film my shots on. Since they weren't dependent on the time of day, I could record freely. I didn't plan too much with a story board, or a script since there was again, rarely any talking to be involved. Acting is a struggle that is something I don't like to do. That's why I prefer other sorts of ways to help out, one of them is being the camera holder. But I had to do what I had to do. I'm not much of a planning person, I'm more of a let it happen now type of person, I believe in the moment it strikes a lot more emotion into what gesture or emotions a person has to act out. Unless they're entitle to state something very specific which my film did not portray.
Producing:
Producing was easy, I recorded on my IPhone which later transferred all the videos to my google drive folder to download them. I had to retake a couple of shots, and think of adding something new into the film which I didn't add in my last one. I recorded over the spend of a week adding clips at the near the end to fill in spots I believe that needed it. I did the basic editing, splicing clips together, adding in text, and the necessary credits at the end.
Evaluating:
It was ok, I felt concluded to make the film because I was pressed for time due to personal reasons. The outcome of it was good, but definitely not one of my best. My next film however I'm extremely excited for because it's different then from this one and the last film. The editing in this film was pretty basic editing, which was short lived but it had the ending outcome it could receive in a short film like this.
Integration:
I'm used to Premiere Pro I think I well experienced wit the basics, and I want to try something new which my next film will be made on Adobe After Effects. Something new to start and get accustomed to, to get inspired to make more heavily edited films and artwork.
